The relation with a Japan Flute Association.
The oringin of the Japan Flute Association and Japan Flute Club publishing was the "Japan Flute Clubs", which was gatherings of the flute lovers of Japan, formed soon after the war. This original Japan Flute Club was closed immediately.Mr. HIDAI Makoto, who engaged in the publication section of the club, established new club to offer flute scores to the flute lovers. The club was divided into two sections, and one side became the Japan Flute Association.(Refer to history)
Is ALTES of JFC translation book?
No, it is not. HIDAI Makoto remade it, adding description and scores to the ALTES, taking advantage of study and educating experiences.(Refer to preface in Japanese) Therefore, there are many points of not corresponding with other translated book.
Is JFC published periodically?
We are very sorry, we cannot publish periodically for a while. Since out of print and run out continued in several years, we want to concentrate on the reprint first of all.
Why old B member only?
We cannot publish periodically. And there were some opinions that they do not want some scores. We selected only a system that they can get scores cheaply.
What is a "event"?
First of all, the concert is considered. Since there are many musics which are seldom performed now, we are planning to hold concert of these music.
How to get the score of JFC?
If a big musical instrument store is situated in near, you search first there or please order with the store. Moreover, you can order with direct JFC. However, the mailing cost is added in this case.Please ask to us by postal-mail, facsimile, e-mail, etc. Please tell us the series number in that case. It will become the origin of a mistake if it is only a music name.
The meaning of circle number and alphabet under a score.
Rational fingering is expressed although written to the beginning of the ALTES Vol.III. This is an original way of writing of JFC.
An old appendix is whether to be able to get.
Although the appendix was attached to the journal of old JFC, since it is pending arrangement, you cannot get it now. Moreover, although the request of publication has also come out, it is not yet in planning.
Is there Koeler's 35 Exercises?
This is op.33. JFC is publishing as (5)15 Easy Exercises, (8)12 Medium Difficult Exercises, and (26)8 Difficult Exercises.
(211) Donizetti Sonata, what is it?
Although Donizetti composed the flute sonata in C minor (260), original of (211) is the music of a violin and a harp.
